Our first residents moved into the neighborhood in the late 1990’s, others soon followed. Located within the community is the Blackthorn Club, a private membership club offering golf, tennis, and dining services. Residents are not required to belong to the club.
The Ridges Property Owner’s Association is a non-profit corporation. All residents and lot/unit owners are members of the association and elect a volunteer Board of Directors. Its purpose is to manage, maintain, operate, and control the common, open space. Its purpose also is to administer and enforce the rules and regulations by which home and lot owners must abide if they purchase a property within the community. These rules and regulations are designed to preserve the community’s integrity and property values, distribute the cost of services, and make the community a desirable place to live.
The Association’s Charter, Declarations, and By-Laws are recorded in the Washington County Register of Deeds Office located in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Residents of Units have additional declarations and by-laws associated within their smaller community.
